Below are some of the responses I have had back from people. Please be assured, nothing is posted publicly without consent from the customer.
"We absolutely love the Cocoon you created for our baby. To have something so soft and comforting to wrap him in felt so much more loving. It was like wrapping him in warm blankets. We felt as though we can lay him to rest so peacefully now - thank you". C.S. February 2012
"It was so much better than a coffin. It felt warm and cosy to touch. It was easy to carry and handle. Just to say that the Leafcocoon allowed us to feel much more involved in the burial because it was so much more accessible and intimate than a coffin would have been". P.R. January 2012

"It was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. You were very open to ideas and incorporated them brilliantly... You kept me informed at every step - thank you"

"Several friends commented very favourably - particularly as to how appropriate it was to our family which has farmed sheep for nearly 35 years. People like the warm and cosy significance. The Leafshroud was the centre of a perfect burial ceremony. I hesitantly add (in very small print) that many people commented how they would have the cocoon but balked at the price (sorry). For us, the expense was more than validated by its beauty, its total appropriateness and that it was purpose-made by an artists hand." G.M January 2012
A note addressing the comment about the expense; the cost of the Leafcocoon has been set by these criteria:
- purchasing wool direct from the farms,
- processing
- daily makers rate.
There are no 'added extras' apart from carriage to its destination. This is an average price for a coffin, although there are some for sale at much, much higher prices. However, I am aware that the Leafcocoon is too much for some of us, and as a result I have designed Leafcocoon 2, a simpler and cheaper version but with the same functionality. Please ask for details.
"My mother ..... ... loved the idea of being cocooned in the felt and somehow it felt much nicer seeing her all wrapped up snugly in your beautiful felt rather than in a hard wooden coffin." S.A. August 2011
"Family members who had been sceptical about a 'green' funeral completely changed their views once they saw mum in her shroud in the chapel of rest. All agreed this was a beautiful way to be laid to rest".

"Both the Leafcocoon for my Mum and my Dad were beautiful. They both looked at peace and cozy. The designs exceeded my expectations. Thank you Yuli". PG, March 2011
